2000　Graduated from Bunka Fashion Collage
2004  Joined COMME des GARÇONS as a pattern maker for ‘JUNYA WATANABE'.
2007  Started his own line ‘GANRYU’ under COMME des GARÇONS.
2018  Launches independent brand 'FUMITO GANRYU’, conceptual wear for the 21st century.
2019  Presented SS19 collection at Pitti Uomo, as an invitee for the designer’s project.
